PromoGuy's Monday Mission 2.45
1. Has someone you know ever told you they had a terminal illness? What was it like for you when you found out. How did that change your relationship with them? No. Most of them didn't have any warning.
2. If you found out you had 12 months to live, what would you do with that time? How would it change the way you live? Or would it? I would spend the time accomplishing things I always wanted to do and visit friends and family. I think it would make me less afraid of doing things that have always scared me.
3. If you were (or are) in a situation where chemotherapy might cure you, or might not, would endure the usual side effects and discomfort? I think it depends. If I knew my chances of being cured by it were high enough to make the side effects worth it then yes, maybe.
4. How is your health? How are you doing? Could be better but could be worse. I need to work out more and eat more veggies.
5. Do you use, or have you ever tried, any alternative heath remedies or procedures? How did that work out? Anything out there we should try (or avoid)? I haven't really tried any other than echinachea for preventing colds and that sort of thing. I think that there is a lot of promise in some of those things though.
6. How do you feel about Flu shots. Do they give them where you live? Are you going to get one or take your chances? Flu shots don't bother me. I get them if I remember to do it before they run out in my area.
7. Do you like to go to see flicks at the movie theater alone? Or would you rather have company? Seen any good (or bad) movies lately? I'd rather have company. I haven't gone to the movie theater in ages. It's just so expensive and for the most part the movies aren't worth the $9 to get in.
BONUS: Don't you want somebody to love? Yes, and I have one :)
