Lysistrata Project- The plan is for there to be world wide readings and performances of this play as a demonstration for not going to war with Iraq. The first-ever world-wide theatrical event for peace will be on Monday, March 3rd, 2003. Theatre artists from around the planet are raising their collective voice against war by producing readings of Lysistrata." (via metafilter.com)

Publishers, Net company settle suit over pop-up ads- "The parent companies of the New York Times, USA Today, the Wall Street Journal and the Washington Post and the digital arms of Knight Ridder and Conde Nast were among news outlets that sued Gator in June over its pop-up ads."

Jackson show reaches 27 million- "More than 27 million viewers couldn't resist a peek into Michael Jackson's bizarre private life Thursday night, a number that explained why ABC fought a bidding war to air it. The special edition of ''20/20'' was the highest-rated newsmagazine since Barbara Walters talked to Monica Lewinsky three years ago and ABC's biggest audience (excluding sports and the Academy Awards) since Michael J. Fox's ''Spin City'' farewell in May 2000."
