It's Thursday in Caffeineland
Mr. Walken's journal I'm a huge fan of Mr. Walken, but I've learned you can't always believe what you see on the web. I've always thought he was great. I love his appearances on SNL. His part in the Fatboy Slim video was perfect. I wish he did more comedy. *sigh* But whether or not it's his journal, it's well written and a good way to amuse yourself for a few minutes.
Have you feng shui-ed your mobile phone yet? If not head straight over to phoneshui.co.uk! hehe. Those silly Brits! :) (fyi-it's a flashsite)
Strap-on duck will keep you awake? So claims the Argentinian inventors of the Duckmaster. They say the Duckmaster is more than just a way for students to stay awake in class but also could be useful in keeping drivers from falling asleep at the wheel. How does it work? The Duckmaster fastens around the user's neck and starts quacking if the owner's head slumps forward.
Thursday Thumb Twiddler
1. You've been diagnosed with a presently incurable disease, with no more than three months to live. If you had a modest chance of surviving cryogenic freezing in the next week, to be awakened in a thousand years to live a greatly extended life ... would you do it? Sure. Worth a shot at least.
2. A friend asks for your opinion about an original novel (painting, sculpture, song) they've created. You think it is utterly dreadful. Do you lie about it, diplomatically tone down your true feelings, or tell the complete, unvarnished truth? Probably tone down my true feelings. Most likely I'd tell them it wasn't the best thing they had done, but would try to break it to them nicely.
3. In honor of the weather, what do you think is the most enjoyable thing to do in the snow? Hmm. Snow ball fights!!
Thursday Threesome
Onesome: all - all the world's a stage... So what types of issues put you on your soapbox? I don't get up there often...hmmm....would have to be environmental issues and society issues (free-choice for abortions, poverty issues, health care issues, etc). Oh and advertising related stuff too.
Twosome: things - what sort of things are you most likely to purchase "spur of the moment" when shopping? Shoes, books, shoes, cds, shoes, and um...shoes.
Threesome: girl - sugar and spice and everything nice? Come now, what are YOU really made of? coffee.
