PromoGuy's Monday Mission 3.04
1. Do you care for poetry? Yes. Do you have a favorite poem? Yes. Care to share some of it? I would but as I don't know it by heart and I'm not in the mood to find it, no. :-)
2. What does it take to "rock your world?" Hmmm depends what you mean by that ;-)
3. Have you ever done anything that landed you in financial trouble? Has somebody else's action ever caused you financial ruin? What happened? I haven't although being laid off did no good for my bank account/wallet/etc.
4. Take a stroll down memory lane. There is a song, that every time you hear it, you think of this one person. What's the song, who is the person, and what memories does it conjure up? Que Cera Cera...I bet I spelt that wrong. Reminds me of my grandma...she used to sing it to me and when I'm in a tough place sometimes "whatever will be will be" really makes sense.
5. I've never cared for football, it was never on in the house growing up and I never developed a "taste" for it. But I've always felt like I "should" enjoy it, that I was deficient in some way because I never get excited about things like the Super Bowl (except for the commercials). Are there any occasions when you feel like you are missing out on something that everyone else seems to enjoy? None that I can think of. Well, maybe seafood and fish. I hate it, but everyone else seems to like it.
6. A few of the phrases that get under my skin are "take it to the next level" (which was used when I was told why I was being replaced at Fox by someone who could do that) and "you just don't get it" (always popular in relationship fights). What phrases "push your buttons" and why? Right now, "how's the job search going?" and "so what have you been up to?" tick me off. I've avoided certain social gatherings where I know that will come up because I hate it.
7. Do you believe in life after death? What do you believe happens when our time is up? I'm not sure. In some ways I really like the whole idea of reincarnation. But I don't know. The scientist in me thinks that we just get recycled in the ground. Even that has a cosmic vibe to it though. The fact that matter cannot be destroyed and what we are just becomes something else.
BONUS: Everybody's talking all this stuff about me why don't they just let me live? Because that would be waaaay too easy ;-)
